The Premove Survey Starts Your Move

Before every move we will send a representative to your residence to find out your specific needs and gain a good perspective of the current situation such as:

• The access to the residence
• The total volume of the goods
• Any itmes needing special attention
• The services you expect from your moving company.

The representative will take notes to facilitate your move, for example if we need to book parking permits, install an exterior elevator to  a certain floor, etc.

Planning for proper packing materials is also the job of the surveyor. He will discuss the move with you and will be aware of the importance of specific items. So it is very important when he visits you that you show him all the items that need to be moved.

VOXME System

In the Benelux region Gosselin Moving uses the VOXME handheld digital recorder to conduct this survey in order to:

• obtain correct measurements
• reduce risk for damage or loss
• quickly provide proper information to the team planning the move

The day after the survey at your residence, you will receive our digital VOXME Survey Report which includes

• a complete inventory
• the volume of your shipment in cubic meters
• relevant photographs

You can also request other items be included such as special access directions or information on works of art.
